Acer Giving Away One Aspire S3 Ultrabook Each Day Through December 31st
by Kristian Vättö on November 3, 2011 8:32 AM ESTAcer has announced a Facebook campaign where users can get a free Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook. In order to join the competition, users need to like the sweepstake page and enter relevant contact information. Unfortunately, this promotion is US only, so international Facebook users cannot participate (clicking the sweepstake link leads to Acer's Facebook page). Acer will be giving away one ultrabook everyday through December 31st. The campaign started yesterday so with quick math, Acer will be giving away a total of 60 Ultrabooks during the campaign.
We reported about Acer's S3 Ultrabook already in September, with more depth-in release coverage in October. Acer will be giving away the cheapest $899 model, which specs are listed below.

You couldn't possibly see the image before the article unless you just happened to click on the Anandtech website, covered your eyes, and clicked randomly around the page in hopes of clicking on an article link. You would have had to click on the article that says "Acer Giving Away..." and then found this article, with the image of the S3.I expect these kinds of comments on Engadget. Not on AT. So be a douche on some other site that tolerates and even promotes this kind of idiotic behavior.

I'm guessing you're an immature person that feels they have to bash something and then rationalize their juvenile actions. First, you place a comment on a non-Apple product and bash Windows when no where does it say that it comes with Windows. Second, you try to rationalize your juvenile comments claiming that it looked like an Airbook.Even I had to click on the link that specifically said that it was an Acer laptop, hence not an Apple product but somehow that gave you the impression that it was an Apple product. Then you lay the blame on that it looks like an Apple product, damn, I guess you're one of those that blames others for your shortcomings or failures instead of accepting responsibility for your own actions.
Anandtech should institute some kind of abuse policy that removes access to post from individuals who are only here to act out their immature tendencies.
